Sunrise hiking is always a good idea until the alarm goes off. After forcing myself out of bed in Interlaken, driving an hour to the trail head and starting the steep ascent I was wondering why I bothered getting up. Then I reached the top of Harder Ridge as Ibex’ were also waking up and saw the best sunrise of my life. Views of Jungrau and the Eiger to my right and this bowl of cloud over the lake of Interlaken. I flew my drone to try and capture the ridge and the sunrise conditions and vowed to never back out of a planned sunrise hike again.
