2 million tonnes of water per second cascades through Igauzú falls, the largest waterfall system on Earth. I was lucky enough to access the waterfall during sundown, after the National Park is closed to the general public. Getting to a vantage point for sunset and watching as the gold light moved up and up on the wall of white water whilst toucans and vultures flew in the mist was surreal. I wanted to show the sheer volume of the water in a light that’s rarely seen by tourists in Iguazú and I knew instantly this was THE photo from my time in the Park.
Printed with Fuji Crystal Archive DPII Digital Pearl paper.
