During my time in Ranthambore National Park, India I booked several different safaris to try and see the elusive Bengali Tiger. The first safari started with sightings of deer, monkeys and birds when all of a sudden the woods went completely silent. Next thing I heard was the scream of a deer - our safari jeep rushed over, following the sound. Stood over that deer was its killer - An Indian Leopard. What I thought was an amazing sight was quickly surpassed when out of the foliage a massive 150kg female tigress chased this leopard up a tree and stole its kill. The tiger proceeded to stalk the leopard as if it was showing it who the real boss of the forest was. This was all a split second interaction and was super rare behaviour which means this photo has even more meaning to me.
