One of my all time favourite places and photographs is this long exposure during sunset at Laguna Torre looking up at Cerra Tore in Patagonia. I set up camp before a sunrise trek to Fitz Roy, but fuelled up by empanadas and alfajores I had enough energy to scramble over big glacial boulders against a bitterly cold alpine wind to reach this lake just as the last light hit the tops of the most spectacular shaped peaks I’d ever seen. Composed through the glacial water flow you can see just how epic a landscape this really is.
